Undergoing <strong>Transgender</strong> Healthcare: As we have seen, the majority of respondents<br />
transitioned in the last 5 years <strong>and</strong> this means that medical treatments have also been sought in that<br />
time. Almost 1 in 4 respondents first accessed gender reassignment treatments in the last five years,<br />
explaining the increasing pressure on what is often, already, an undervalued part of the hospital team.<br />

Living Arrangements: Chart 10 shows the family arrangements (or not) in which the<br />
respondents currently live. A far higher proportion [37%] live alone compared to the general<br />
population <strong>and</strong> only 12% are in a married relationship but 41% do have a partner, married or not.<br />
