AutoSam is a fully automatic sample handling
system with varied application possibilities. The
robust construction enables deployment in rough
plant environment.

In connection with an automation device or a control
PC with the LiquiMaster control software, it is
possible to realise any procedures time or processcontrolled
according to specification of test period,
time etc.

Occurring sample waste and rinsing solutions are
collected in a separate waste container. Due to the
utilisation of inert materials and freely programmable
rinsing cycles is eliminated and sterility ensured in
bioprocesses.
The AutoSam can be deployed as sample dispenser,
respectively as a multicomponent collector, as the
needle can be lowered right down to the bottle base.
The precise control allows selective liquid/liquid
phase separation through siphoning off to phase
limit level.
Optionally, it is possible to assemble digital inputs
and outputs to switch external valves or pumps or to
query monitors for filling level, pressure, etc. This
enables easy realisation of liquid handling systems.
Bottles with septa can be used as sample vessels.
Vessels (e.g. 1.5 and 2ml-E-Caps) sealed with
plastic covers or thin membranes are suited. By
exchanging the sample tray, it is possible to switch
to different vessel sizes.
AutoSam300 as a fully integrated Process Component
The AutoSam is connected to the HiTec Zang
LabManager or any other control system via serial
interface. The control is easily conducted via HiText-
Program or HiBatch basis operations. This ensures
uncomplicated integration into the HiTec Zang LUIit
and MultiLab systems.
The module IL-AUTOSAM-SA enables an optional
connection of an internal 2/3 way valve or an
external pump a stand-alone sampling without
external control device.
The parameters sample amount, intervall and filling
time can be set via the AutoSam control panel.
For stand-alone application, the „LiquiMaster“
Software is available, which enables table or scriptbased
schedule control for AutoSam with two/threeway
valve in combination with our peristaltic and
syringe pumps.
The sample tray can be exchanged by merely lifting
the old one and fitting the new one.
The devices are automatically able to identify an
exchange of the sample tray and the number of
sample positions of the sample tray.
We advise to order the devices with at least two
sample trays in order to prevent the necessity to
individually change the sample bottles.
