Nickname (and its origins):
‘Dawesy’ pretty obvious from my surname.
As a boy I supported: Woodville.
My most memorable football moment is:
Winning the 1998 Reserves Grand Final and also making
my league debut for Norwood.
I’d rather forget the game when:
Last year we embarrassingly lost to Centrals by over 150 points
at Elizabeth, historically it was one of the club’s worst losses.
I’m praised for my: Competitiveness on the field.
I’m not so good at:
Overhead marking, being a smaller player.
My football style could be compared to:
Former Norwood player Jerry D’Antiochia.
The best young player at my club is:
Ryan Schoenmakers, he is young and has real potential for
the future.
The SANFL’s most exciting player is:
Ian Callinan because of his amazing goal scoring ability.
The best advice given:
Is to get the most out of yourself.
A nightmare room mate would be (and why):
Paul Puopolo because of his extreme vanity.
My long lost twin is: Ben Stiller.
My party trick is: Climbing things at inappropriate times.
When I’m at a nightclub you’ll find me:
Making an early exit out the backdoor.
Schnitzel or Carpaccio of Tuna Schnitzel.
My biggest fashion mistake was:
My entire wardrobe, I don’t own anything fashionable.
Something my team-mates may not know about me:
That I can actually afford a new car.
In my future I see:
Winning a premiership for Norwood this year.
Besides playing football my ambition in life has always
been to:
Retire from work early and spend more time on the boat.
