Guidelines to help l<strong>and</strong>owners grow <strong>and</strong> manage poplar <strong>and</strong> willow trees on their l<strong>and</strong> Millions of poplar <strong>and</strong> willow trees are growing on farms for stabilising erosion-prone hill country, providing farm livestock with shelter <strong>and</strong> shade, resolving drainage problems <strong>and</strong> providing a source of supplementary fodder during dry summers.
