Marine tourism in Croatia is on the rise and the number of boats sailing the Adriatic during summer ever greater. In recent
years, yachts belonging to some of the richest people in the world have come to the Adriatic and have visited Rab too,
bringing to mind the days when members of the British Royal family stayed on Rab.
The marina in Rab’s town harbour is an especially beautiful spot to moor a yacht. This is where you will moor if you want to
enjoy the delights of the town of Rab without straying far from your pride and joy. All the services sailors might need are
here, with workshops for essential repairs and a boat crane.
The close proximity of the town of Rab is a special attraction of the Rab Marina, with its cockpit view of the four Rab bell
towers and the beautiful town panorama, which has endured for thousands of years.
The marina in Supetarska Draga offers a quite different experience. Constructed alongside a small fishing and farming
settlement, this marina provides direct contact with nature. Located in the northern part of the island, the marina offers
safe mooring for larger yachts as well as all the other services needed by sailors - workshops for repairs and a marine crane
for lifting boats - making for a very reliable winter mooring.
The marina offers all the other necessary facilities, together with the peace of a wide bay and a location in a small village.
Near to it, there are some very interesting sailing destinations: the archipelago of small islands scattered before the entrance
to the bay, or excursions to the nearby islands of Grgur, Goli or Prvić.
