CSC Taekwondo Year-End Gathering cum Flippa-Ball 2012
Taekwondo trainees had a jolly great time of bonding as they had a Flippa-ball crash course on 2 December.
Unlike Taekwondo which advocates a total development of oneself, the winning formula for Flippa-ball centres
solely on team collaboration. The young trainees benefitted from the values and importance of team work, trust
and group rapport.
HALLOWEEN NIGHT By Janice Lim
It was a night of pumpkins and ghouls, when the bar transformed itself into a spooky spider’s lair in true
Halloween tradition. The she-devils turned the heat up several notches and set the mood for the evening with
their treats or tricks chilling fun. Everyone had a horrendously good time for sure.
3 Bars 2nd Anniversary By Janice Lim
Members and their guests who qualified for invitation partied away in a Bollywood-themed 3 Bars celebration
of its 2nd anniversary. Besides indulging in a sumptuous, specially-prepared buffet, party-goers were invited
to participate in a round of games as well as a beer-drinking contest, where the winner walked away with
bottles of wines plus an array of exclusive premiums. Providing eye candy were the saree-clad models, not
forgetting our entertaining Mistress of Ceremony, who led the auction of several lots of wines and liquor, with
the proceeds going towards a selected beneficiary.

LUWAK COFFEE PAIRING
The world’s priciest and most sought-after coffee titillated the palates and curiosity of many members and
guests in the final coffee pairing of the year on 20 November. The luwak coffee (also known as civet coffee) was
much to the participants’ surprise, non-acidic and nothing but a perfect smooth brew. The tasting session
provided the much needed ‘oomph’ while the participants enjoyed the specially crafted menu du jour. Apart
from the dine-in experience, many participants had the opportunity to purchase some of the premium coffee
beans to share with their friends and loved ones this festive season.
We would like to extend our special thanks to Bon Café for the kind sponsorships and insights shared during
the short session.
