RPA notes that the resource model is truncated at depth and recommends that Avocet
Mining continue to investigate the potential of the Inata deposits at depth.
To improve the production capacity RPA recommends that Inata focus on keeping the most
productive loaders fully utilized; review and improve truck dispatch; consider the
implementation of a computerized truck dispatch system; relay daily production information
to the supervisors and operators in a simple and up to date manner so that they know the
target and how they did; and, review daily operations and consider ways to reduce lost time
at shift change and other potential inefficiencies. In addition further review and action to
improve mining equipment mechanical availability is recommended.
It is recommended that a slope monitoring system be installed at the Inata North and
Central Pits to monitor slope movements and provide early warning of any potential failure.
Consideration should be given to drilling specific geotechnical boreholes and performing
additional field and laboratory tests to confirm rock material properties
