Y Gymraeg ydy iaith swyddogol yr ysgol a phrif gyfrwng y dysgu. Un o’n prif fwriadau ydy cyfoethogi pob<br />
agwedd o fywydau ein disgyblion drwy gyfrwng dwy iaith.<br />
Welsh is the official language of the school and the main medium of each lesson. One of our fundamental aims<br />
is to enrich every facet of the lives of our pupils through the medium of two languages.<br />
CYFNOD ALLWEDDOL 3 KEY STAGE 3<br />
Yn ystod tair blynedd gyntaf eu cyfnod yn <strong>Ysgol</strong> <strong>Maes</strong><br />
<strong>Garmon</strong>, bydd y disgyblion yn perthyn i flynyddoedd<br />
7-9, sef Cyfnod Allweddol 3. Ar ddiwedd Cyfnod<br />
Allweddol 3 bydd gofynion y Cwricwlwm<br />
Cenedlaethol yn cael eu hasesu yn ôl canllawiau<br />
cenedlaethol.<br />
During their first three years at <strong>Ysgol</strong> <strong>Maes</strong> <strong>Garmon</strong>,<br />
the pupils will be members of years 7-9, Key Stage 3.<br />
At the end of Key Stage 3 the requirements of the<br />
National Curriculum will be assessed, according to<br />
national guidelines.<br />
Yn ystod Cyfnod Allweddol 3 fe fydd y disgyblion yn<br />

Ar ddechrau blwyddyn 7, rhoddir prawf CAT<br />
(Cognitive Ability Test) i’r disgyblion, ac fe<br />
ddefnyddir y profion i ddadansoddi arddull dysgu pob<br />
disgybl. Defnyddir canlyniadau’r profion i adnabod<br />
anghenion disgyblion yn well.<br />
During Key Stage 3, pupils will study the following<br />

At the beginning of year 7, we give the pupils CATs<br />
(Cognitive Ability Tests), and we use the results from<br />
these test to examine each pupil’s learning style. The<br />
test results ar used to identify pupils needs more<br />
effectively.<br />
