(CSI) says that SoundSorb®, their patented acoustical architectural material has true interior architectural appeal. VC-2100 Vibration Comparator. Ono Sokki Technology, Inc., has introduced the VC-2100 Vibration Comparator. The VC-2100 can serve as a vibration "watchdog" in a wide range of situations in which vibration-based judgments must be made. Combined with an acceleration pickup, the VC-2100 is said to provide high performance vibration level judgments, detection of abnormalities and verification of vibration levels. Digital processing simultaneously over two independently settable frequency bands enables detection, measurement and judgment for each abnormal occurrence. The VC-2100 features direct key settings for enhanced ease of operation, digital and bargraph displays, and diagnostic capability using RMS and peak values. Verification of vibration sound is possible by connecting a pair of standard headphones to the output provided. All of this and more is housed in a compact 96 x 96mm DIN panel. Options available for the VC-2100 include a single additional band which expands the VC-2100 to three-band operation. The Integration option allows the acceleration signal to be integrated to enable measurement of velocity and displacement. Each band can be independently set to perform a different measurement. For example, Band "A" may be set to integrate to velocity while Band "B" is set to displacement. The addition of the Current output option converts the analog DC output to a 4- to 20-rnA current output to enable remote sensing applications. This gage was designed to measure dimensions, thickness, curvature, eccentricity, displacement, height, depth, flatness, variation, runnout, roundness, distortion, deflection, and position. This gage sensor uses the proven linear glass scale technology. The main advantage of this principle is that you can maintain high consistent accuracy throughout its entire range. The BS-112 produces highly accurate measurements to 0.00004" throughout it's full 10 mm measuring range. This ultra-compact sensor was custom built for extreme tight quarters where conventional sensors would be considered impossible to use. Ideal for mounting inside of machinery with limited access space. To add to this sensor's ruggedness, a waterproof seal was added to make it (resistance equivalent to IP-64). Also dust bellow is provided for extra protection to enable accurate measurements in a harsher environment.
