NEW NEIGHBOURHOODS - PRINCIPLES
• Extension of High Street and its direction connection with Baseline Road;
• Road closing of existing Baseline Road at the Proposed extension;
• Alignment interrupted by development of a round-about/ public place/ community focus;
• Live-work units proposed as veneer on High Street extension;
• Major neighbourhood park linking public square with existing environmental protection area;
• Pedestrian access facilitate through neighbourhood housing design (mixed-use complex)
• Existing school relocation utilized to form neighbourhood park to terminate at new east/west collector to view
of Black Creek; and,
• Increase density throughout neighbourhood and maximize it surrounding the public square.
* Road extension is conceptual only. Actual alignment will be determined by further study.
