STANDARD EXCHANGE PROCEDURE<br />
1. TRANSMISSION OF A S/E REQUEST<br />
1.1 GENERAL<br />
Each Standard Exchange request shall be addressed to SAVE GIE offices.<br />

1.2 S/E FORM – CUSTOMER'S LIABILITY<br />
The S/E form is:<br />
• printable from the Helicopter Center of the Thales Group web site (www.thalesgroup.com, click on<br />
Business / Avionics Systems / <strong>Customer</strong> Center)<br />
• available on <strong>Customer</strong> request at the following address "technicaline@fr.thalesgroup.com"<br />
The <strong>customer</strong> fills out a Standard Exchange Request Form to request for a standard exchange unit. This<br />
document aims to constitute the Purchase Order (PO) and the contractual link between the <strong>Customer</strong> and<br />
THALES AVIONICS.<br />
The <strong>customer</strong> S/E Request Form is transmitted to SAVE GIE by fax to the one of the three SAVE GIE sites<br />
that corresponds to the <strong>customer</strong>'s geographical area.<br />

Each S/E request form must fulfill with mandatory data as follows:<br />
• <strong>Customer</strong> identification<br />
• Type & S/N of the helicopter<br />
• Helicopter delivery date & flight hours<br />
• P/N & S/N of the unserviceable unit<br />
• P/N of helicopter configuration file when applicable<br />
• Reason of removal<br />
• Shipping address<br />
• <strong>Customer</strong> signature<br />
If the S/E form is not compliant with the requested mandatory data, until further <strong>information</strong> provided by the<br />
<strong>customer</strong> on SAVE GIE request, the S/E request will be kept in stand-by.<br />
2. S/E REQUEST MANAGEMENT BY SAVE GIE<br />
For each request received, SAVE GIE will assign a tracking number that will be used as the unique<br />
identification for all interchanges between the <strong>customer</strong>, THALES AVIONICS and SAVE GIE.<br />
3. S/E REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY SAVE GIE<br />
SAVE GIE acknowledges the <strong>customer</strong> request within 4 hours following receipt of the request.<br />
Basically, the P/N of the equipment to be delivered is the same that the unserviceable equipment P/N.<br />
In specific cases, THALES can propose a standard exchange tailored to reach the <strong>customer</strong> need.<br />

4. LOGISTIC DELIVERY BY SAVE GIE<br />
The equipment is to be ready for shipment within 24 hours, from the SAVE GIE site corresponding to the<br />
geographical region of the <strong>customer</strong>. If necessary, SAVE GIE Paris will initiate the delivery and notify the<br />
relevant SAVE GIE site to proceed.<br />
Delivery conditions are FCA Paris / Singapore / New York.<br />
For under warranty S/E, Thales supports delivery shipment cost. The <strong>customer</strong> supports all costs for the return<br />
of the unserviceable equipment.<br />
5. UNSERVICEABLE UNIT RETURN – CUSTOMER'S LIABILITY<br />
The unserviceable unit is to be returned within twenty (20) days from the delivery of the serviceable unit.<br />
The <strong>customer</strong> shall return the equipment to SAVE GIE, at the address corresponding to his geographical<br />
