Why do I love Phoenix?

It was when I thought my career had ended
Right in front of me a wide door opened
Much to my astonishment I grabbed it quickly
Without any doubt I entered and joined gladly.
Purposely I know God has brought me here
To again relive and bring out the best in me.
Slowly but surely I realized I belong again
To a world full of hope one must attain.
Phoenix made me believe that I am still capable,
Capable of sharing myself in serving the people.
With great pride I know I can take on this leap
And from up above I can see God’s hands clap.
And so with delight and honor I thank Phoenix
For giving me the opportunity to fly high again
And there’s no other way but to love you back,
Indeed I must truly say – Phoenix Fuels Life!
Phoenix, Ang Tahanan Ko
Sa pagkalap ko ng mga sagot sa aking katanungan,
Di namalayan napadpad ako dito sa di kalayuan,
Kung saan-saan na ako nakarating at nanuluyan,
Dito lang pala sa malapit ako mananahan.
Ilang taon ang ginugol ko para mahanap ang sarili,
Nangibang bayan at nakipagsapalaran para makapili,
Sa Phoenix natagpuan ang yaman na di mabibili,
Ang maibahagi ang sarili ng walang pag-aatubili.
Dahil sa Phoenix sumigla muli ang kabanata ng buhay,
Kaginhawaan at katahimikan ng isip akin na namang taglay,
At nararapat lamang na akin kang mahalin ng puro at tunay,
Sa pagsilbi sa iyo ng tapat, buong puso at puno ng dalisay.
Di ko alintana ang haba ng oras sa loob ng isang araw,
Basta para sa iyo O Phoenix damdamin ko’y umaapaw,
Ipagsisigawan at ipagmamalaki sa mga pusong uhaw,
Na dito sa tahanang Phoenix kailanman hindi bibitaw.
