The universal articulation system is the most frequently used
articulation system in the world. The advantages are in the simple
and clearly defined connection surfaces, which allow the articulation
to be quickly and simply fitted to the front and rear sections of
the vehicle. The articulation system is available in two versions
that are almost maintenance-free: standard and deluxe. The main
components of the articulation system, such as the bearing,
the articulation control and the damping elements are all easily
accessible. In the event of damage, the individual dampers
can be replaced separately. The combination of the universal
articulation system with an electronic control system is particularly
popular. This system detects driving situations at lightning
speed and can, if desired, intervene in the driving. It also detects
possible sources of error through a continuous self-diagnosis.

The compact articulation system can be used in all kinds of

The ball articulation system was developed especially for puller
vehicles. It is simple, cost-effective, has a particularly robust
design and is delivered in assembly groups that are ready for
installation. Due to its special articulation bearing, large rolling
motions can be achieved without hydraulic or mechanical
damping – it is the ideal solution in growth markets, in particular.

The heavy-duty articulation system has the same functions as the
universal articulation system, but has been specially developed
for vehicles with high axle loads. With this articulation system, up
to 4.5 tons can easily be accommodated (as they are with CNG,
trolley or hybrid buses, for example). This system is particularly
popular in North America.
