Interior
HÜBNER‘s toolmaking department works especially carefully to
ensure that you can enjoy the quality of our products for a long
time to come. Our laboratory and our own raw material production
department guarantee excellent product quality. If you have
particular requirements for mechanical characteristics, thermoforming
resistance, surface feel, design and painted surfaces,
HÜBNER develops solutions for you, that are precisely tailored
to meet your requirements.
Another exciting aspect is weight reduction in vehicle construction.
In certain areas, we can perfectly substitute metals with a selection
of our range of materials and then use them as design materials.
Example product: internal covering
Polyurethane RIM offers extraordinarily high design freedom for
complex geometries and surface design: everything is possible
from leather grains to a painted surface with a soft coat effect.
In comparison to other plastics reinforced by glass fibres (GRP),
this procedure manages completely without solvents and styrenes.
The weight reduction of PU glass fibre technology in comparison
to the GRP procedure amounts to almost 25 %. Thus, HÜBNER‘s
moulded parts made from polyurethane are a very good alternative
to metal materials or GRP.
Product example: driver cockpit
With its polyurethane products, the HÜBNER Group satisfies
international fire protection parameters, such as flammability,
the spread of flames, heat emission and smoke emission.
This is of great interest for internal applications, such as driver
cockpits in buses. In this area, we produce the products from
a highly flexible polyurethane RIM system.
Exterior
We provide you with competent and target-oriented advice in this
area and support your product from its development and production
to processing. Customer-specific requirements, such as low
wall thicknesses for large moulded parts, excellent mechanical
properties and extraordinarily good thermal and sound insulation
are satisfied by the material polyurethane with its varied material
properties and processing procedures. We are the specialists
