As the first day of issue of the SARASOTA NATIONAL<br />

STAMP EXHIBITION coincides with the UNPA first day of issue<br />

“Definitives”, a special show cachet will be available. To<br />

obtain the show cachet, send self-addressed envelopes,<br />

affixed with UNPA New York stamps only (UNPA-Geneva <strong>and</strong><br />

UNPA-Vienna stamps will not be accepted) to the address<br />

below. The envelopes will be imprinted with the requested<br />

show cachet <strong>and</strong> returned through normal mail channels.<br />

Requests for the show cachet should be postmarked no later<br />

than 4 February 2011.<br />

3 - 5 March 2011<br />

14th International Stamp Exhibition<br />

Munich, Germany<br />

On the occasion of the 14th International Stamp Exhibition<br />

Munich, to be held from 3 to 5 March 2011 at the M,O,C,<br />

Veranstaltungscenter in hall 2, UNPA will be represented with<br />

a sales <strong>and</strong> information booth <strong>and</strong> offer a show cachet as well<br />

as a white card. Both designs were created by the Austrian<br />

artist Hannes Margreiter <strong>and</strong> reflect the four classical<br />

elements (Earth, Water, Air <strong>and</strong> Fire).<br />

chinese lunar calendar event sheet<br />

Celebration of the Year of the Rabbit<br />

On 4 February 2011, UNPA will<br />

issue a Chinese lunar calendar event sheet<br />

celebrating the Year of the Rabbit. The sheet<br />

is composed of ten US$ 0.44 denominated<br />

stamps with the UN logo. The tab of the<br />

stamps features a zodiac symbol of the Year<br />

of the Rabbit. The background design on<br />

the sheet features the cycle of the 12 zodiac<br />

animal signs.<br />

The Year of the Rabbit event sheet will<br />

be provided to customers who have st<strong>and</strong>ing<br />

order requirements for New York special<br />

personalized stamp sheets (Art. 94). All other<br />

customers can purchase this item on a firstcome,<br />

first-served basis by using the order<br />

form 1/2011.<br />
