Learn to Ski 

Interlaken 

The “Learn to Ski” package is the perfect opportunity to experience the famous winter sport in 

one of the most exciting ski areas of Switzerland. Enjoy your first skiing lesson with the advantage 

that your ski equipment is ready for you on spot with organized transfers to the ski region. 

After the first rides on the slopes you can choose between a second day skiing or alternatively a 

snowshoe and sledding adventure. If you had enough of snow and fun, you can go shopping in 

Interlaken or just discover this beautiful town.

• All ski lessons are conducted in small groups. Private lessons can be arranged on request. The 

full day skiing is conducted in a group. The second day includes a private 2½ hour lesson and

Learn to Ski Interlaken

Day 1: Arrival Interlaken 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Interlaken. 

Overnight in Interlaken. 

Day 2: Interlaken/Skiing 

This package is aimed at people who have never skied before and want to try the experience. 

The stress of where to go, how to get there and what to do is removed as you choose what you 

want to do before you arrive. 

Hotel pick-up for ski equipment fitting either 16:30 on the day before the lesson or 7:45 on the 

day of the lesson. Fitting at the shop will take approximately 1 hour. 8:45 depart from Interlaken 

to Bodmi, Grindelwald (45 minutes). You will receive your ski pass and start with 2.5 hours group 

ski lesson. After your lunch break (not included, must be paid on spot) you will have another 2.5 

hours group ski lesson. At around 16:20 departure to the shop in Interlaken and 17:20 return to 

your hotel. Overnight in Interlaken. 

Day 3: Interlaken/Skiing or Snowshoeing and Sledding 

Option Ski: 

8:30 Hotel pick up to the shop. 8:45 depart Interlaken to Bodmi/Grindelwald. 2.5 hours private 

ski lesson. Lunch break (not included, must be paid on spot). Free time for skiing or resting. 16:20 

depart to the shop to return the ski equipment and 17:20 return to the hotel. (Alternative afternoon 

lesson also possible). 

Option Snowshoe and Sledding: 

If you have chosen the snowshoe tour, you will be exploring snowy forests and remote mountain 

villages, experiencing Switzerland off the beaten track. 10:00 hotel pick up to shop. Depart to 

Isenflu (20 minutes), Gondola to Sulwald. Snowshoe tour for about 1.5 hours and afterwards fondue 

lunch. Sled ride down for about 1 hour. Return to hotel in Interlaken at around 16:00. 


Day 4: Departure 

Departure back home or to your next holiday destination.

Interlaken 

The “Ski Advanced” package is the ideal offer for passionate skiers with an intermediated to 

advanced skill level. You don`t have to hassle with the equpiment as our offer includes high 

quality ski material, which will be provided to you on spot. You will experience one of the best 

ski regions in Switzerland with 110km of ski slopes at the foot of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Day 1: Arrival Interlaken/Skiing 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Interlaken.

Day 2: Interlaken/Skiing

Day 3: Interlaken/Winter Adventure 

Escape the crowds and discover the peaceful side of the alps. Snowshoeing is a spectacular way 

to see the untouched areas of the Swiss mountains. Discover the snowy forest of Isenflu and the 

surrounding Jungfrau Panorama, followed by a traditional Glüwein and Swiss cheese fondue in a 

charming mountain restaurant. This half day trip ends with a 45 minute sled ride down the mountain 

forest track.

Davos 

The “Learn to Ski” package is the perfect opportunity to experience your first ski lessons in the 

heart of Grisons, Davos. Enjoy your first skiing lesson with the advantage that your ski equipment 

is ready for you on spot with organized transfers to the ski region. After the first rides on 

the slopes you can chose between a second day skiing or alternatively a snowshoe and sledding 

adventure. If you had enough of snow, you can browse around the streets of Davos. There 

are plenty of restaurants and bars to explore.

Learn to Ski Davos

Day 1: Arrival Davos 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Davos. 

Overnight in Davos. 

Day 2: Davos/Skiing 

After the breakfast head to the „Talstation Jakobshorn“ where you will receive your ski pass and 

full ski equipment. From here you will take off together with your ski instructor to the 2.5 hours ski 

lesson in the beginners area of Jakobshorn. 

After your guided ski lesson you can practice a few more hours by your own and have a lunch 

(extra charge) in one of the nice ski huts enjoying the beautiful snow-covered landscape. 


Day 3: Davos/Winter Fun Adventure 

Option 1: Sledding 

In the morning leisture time, in the afternoon sledding at the Rinerhorn. The Rinerhorn is the 

insider secret out of all of Davos Klosters magical mountains. Apart from its extensive wealth of 

ski runs, it also features a 3.5 km long toboggan run, open on two evenings a week for lovers of 

romance. A beautiful winter hiking trail leads hikers from the top station down into the valley and 

sun-seekers can soak up the sun on the sun desks close to the mountain station. 

Option 2: Snowshoe Tour 

The snowshoe tour can be arranged at your preferred time, just let us know a few days prior 

arrival. It will take place in the region of Jakobshorn, the exact location depends on the weather 

conditions and will be decided in due time. The tour will last approximately 2 hours.

6 snow sports resorts: The Jakobshorn, the Parsenn/Gotschna resort and the three family-friendly 

mountains Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn. Furthermore, Schatzalp/Strela offer the 

first decelerated skiing resort in Europe. In other words: you are simply spoilt for choice - this is

Day 1: Arrival Davos 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Davos. 



After the breakfast head to the „Talstation Jakobshorn“ where you will receive your 2 day ski pass 

and full ski equipment. From here you will take off together with your private ski guide to the 2.5 

hours ski adventure. 

Davos is a winter sports metropolis for skiing and snowboarding fans from all over the world. 

At altitudes between 1124 and 2844 m, guests will find 58 ski lifts, 320 km of slopes, 75 km of 

cross-country ski tracks.The seven Davos-Klosters skiing areas of Parsenn, Gotschna, Jakobshorn, 

Pischa, Madrisa, Rinerhorn and Schatzalp/Strela have been brought together into one vast winter 

sports arena. 



One full day of skiing (non-guided). 

For skiing fanatics, the mecca is the Parsenn and Weissfluhjoch area which connects up with the 

neighbouring resort of Klosters. The Jakobshorn, on the other hand, is the in place for snowboarders, 

with its half-pipe and monster pipe. For a quieter time, take a ride by horse-drawn sledge 

into the snowy side valleys, or experience the Davos mountains from 111 km of beautifully prepared 

winter footpaths and snow-shoe trails.

Day 1: Arrival St. Moritz 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in St. Moritz. 

You will receive your ski pass at the hotel. Afterwards, individual transfer to „Ski Service Corvatsch“ 

for ski rental and fitting. Ski Service Corvatsch has eight different ski shops in St. Moritz 

and it`s surroundings. We will advised you the nearest shop from your booked hotel. 

Individual transfer to your preferred ski area and rest of the day free time for skiing. 

Overnight in St. Moritz. 

Day 2: St. Moritz/Skiing 

After an healthy breakfast you have one full day of skiing in your preferred ski area in St. Moritz. 

In the four large and varied ski areas of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and 

Zuoz, as well as in five other small but special areas, winter sports fans have 350km (217 miles) 

of slopes waiting to be explored. 


Day 3: St. Moritz/Skiing 

One full day of skiing in your preferred ski area. On the doorstep of the picturesque villages you 

can find idyllic spots: perfect beginners’ pistes such as Languard in Pontresina, Proluvèr in Celerina, 

Cristins in Silvaplana, Müsella in La Punt and Bügls in S-chanf. Zuoz’s local mountain, too, 

promises relaxed days for the whole family. Here you can happily carve your turns over the wide 

slopes, with plenty of space to yourself. You can also enjoy especially relaxed rides on the chairlift: 

it is one of only two in the Upper Engadin equipped with special child safety features. Muottas 

Muragl is reserved for winter walking and tobogganing.

Ski Safari Crans-Montana

Day 1: Arrival Crans-Montana/Skiing 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Crans-Montana. 

Enjoy a welcome drink with an introduction. Afterwards, transfer to the ski resort and afternoon 

skiing in Crans-Montana. Transfer back to the hotel. 

Overnight in Crans-Montana. 

Day 2: Zermatt/Skiing 

After breakfast transfer to the helicopter station and helicopter flight over the Swiss Alps to Zermatt. 

Full day ski in the Glacier Paradise. Lunch in the ski resort Cervinia. In the late afternoon 

transfer back to the hotel. 

The ski region offers 360 km of pistes in three varied ski areas: the Sunnegga-Rothorn, Gornergrat-Stockhorn, 

Schwarzsee and Matterhorn glacier paradise. Snowboarders are able to hone 

their skills in the „Gravity Park“ freestyle fun park in which Olympic hopefuls also train. A crossover 

to the Italian ski region of Breuil-Cervinia is possible from the Matterhorn glacier paradise / 

Theodulpass. 


Day 3: 4 Vallèes/Skiing 

Today full day skiing in the 4 Vallèes ski area which covers Verbier, Haute, Nendaz and Thyon. 

Lunch in the ski resort. Transfer back to the hotel in the late afternoon. 

‚Les 4 Vallées’ (Four Valleys) is the name of the immense ski resort with a good 410 km of piste 

and more than 90 lifts and railways linking the stations of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and 

La Tzoumaz. A cableway opens up the top of Mont Fort at a height of 3330 metres. From here 

there is a fantastic view to the Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Mont Blanc. 


Day 4: Portes du Soleil/Skiing and departure 

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the ski resort of Les Portes du Soleil with lunch in the ski 

resort. 

Land of winter sports and leisure activities. Between Switzerland and France discover the Portes 

du Soleil, the largest linked international ski area in the world. 650 km of pistes await you 

thanks to one single key card ski pass. 360 km of winter trails, to be discovered on foot or with 

snowshoes, will guide you through idyllic landscapes.

Day 1: Arrival Saas-Fee/Skiing 

Arrival in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel in Saas-Fee. 

Enjoy a welcome drink with an introduction. Afterwards, transfer to the ski resort and afternoon 

skiing in Saas-Fee. Transfer back to the hotel. 

Overnight in Saas-Fee. 

Day 2: Saas-Fee/Skiing 

After breakfast transfer to the ski area of Saas-Fee. Full day ski including lunch in the ski area. 

With its 22 lifts and 100 km of prepared pistes, the winter ski region of Saas Fee forms the heart 

of the entire ski region. In addition to Saas-Fee, there is a further ski area in the nearby region of 

Kreuzboden-Hochsaas above Saas-Grund. 

In the late afternoon transfer back to the hotel. 


Day 3: Zermatt/Skiing 

After breakfast transfer to Täsch and from there with the train to Zermatt. Full day ski in the Glacier 

Paradise of Zermatt including lunch in the ski resort. After lunch possibility to ski on the Italian 

side. In the late afternoon transfer back to the hotel.

The Hohsaas ski area is sunny, gets guaranteed snow, and the view of the 18 surrounding 4,000- 

plus peaks is nothing short of stunning. Cross-country skiers can take advantage of the trails in 

the valley, and an ice rink is the site of many a pirouette, in addition to curling and ice hockey. 

And don’t forget the eleven-kilometre sledge run from Kreuzboden down to the valley – one of 

the longest and most thrilling anywhere.

Day 1: Arrival Crans-Montana/Skiing 


Enjoy a welcome drink with an introduction. Afterwards, transfer to the ski area. Before or after 

lunch ski free ride in the ski area of Crans-Montana. 

The skiing area of Crans-Montana is composed of 140 km (87 mi) of pistes, and includes the glacier 

of Plaine Morte. It is topped by the Pointe de la Plaine Morte at 2,927 m (9,600 ft). 

Crans-Montana is famous in alpine ski racing for the 1987 World Championships and is often on 

the World Cup schedule, usually for women‘s speed events. 

Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Crans-Montana. 

Day 2: Pigne dÀrolla & Rosablanch/Skiing 

After an healthy breakfast transfer to the heli-station and helicopter flight from Chermignon to the 

Pignes of Arolla. Ski in the Pigne dÀrolla (3796). Heliflight from Arolla to the Petit-Combin. Ski in 

the Petit-Combin. The Petit Combin is located between the valleys of Entremont and Bagnes in 

the canton of Valais. It belong to the Grand Combin massif. It`s a popular destination for heliskiing 

and snow landing. 

In the late afternoon transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Crans-Montana. 

Day 3: Gstellihorn & Wildhorn/Skiing 

In the morning transfer to the heli-station and helicopter flight from Chermignon to Gstellihorn. 

The Gstellihorn (2,855 m) is a mountain in the Bernese Oberland. It is the highest summit of the 

Engelhörner, the chain between the Reichenbachtal and the Urbachtal. From here you will ski to 

Gsteig and then continue with a taxi transfer to Saanen. From Saanen heliflight to the Wildhorn, 

where you will ski the rest of the afternoon. The Wildhorn (3,248 m) is the highest peak of the 

Wildhorn group in the Bernese Alps. In the late afternoon transfer back and departure back home 

or to your next holiday destination.

Day 1: Arrival Crans-Montana 


After a welcome drink you will have brief introduction with detailed information about your booked 

services. Depending on your arrival time, you can already enjoy today the Huskies dog sledging

Day 2: Anzère

Glacier Express 

Chur – Brig 

From Matterhorn to the Upper Engadine or vice versa. Travel on the famous Glacier Express – 

one of Switzerland’s best scenic train rides across the Alps connecting two of the most popular 

resorts – Zermatt and St. Moritz. The entire journey takes around 7.5 hours and crosses 291 

bridges, passes through 91 tunnels and climbs over the 2033 m high Oberalp Pass. There are

Bernina Express 

Chur – Tirano 

The Bernina Express runs through the ancient landscape of Switzerland‘s beautiful Grisons (Graubünden) 

making short work of the 55 tunnels, 196 bridges and steep inclines along the way. 

Special observation cars will let you admire the route as well as the mighty glaciers, viaducts and 

palm trees from the comfort of your seat. The final stretch of the Bernina Express line has been 

classed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008. For some southern charm you change in Tirano

After breakfast board the narrow-gauge Bernina Express at Chur station and enjoy one of the

to more than 2,253m (7,391 ft) you pass snowcovered mountain peaks and glaciers to descent 

towards Poschiavo and Brusio. Once arrived in Tirano (border to Italy) there is about one hour

Day 1: Arrival Lucerne

Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an

After breakfast short walk to the railway station. The trains of the Zentralbahn are waiting for you

Line. Starting in the German speaking Lucerne region, the journey takes you over the 

Brünig pass into the Bernese Oberland. Passing Lake Brienz and after a short journey you arrive 

at Interlaken. Along the shores of Lake Thun you reach the Simmen valley with Zweisimmenn and 

the world known holiday resort of Gstaad. French peppers the air. Further on through the wild 

romantic Pays d’Enhaut with the scenic villages of Château d’Oex and Montbovon continues the 

journey through a tunnel before the panoramic view of the Lake Geneva and Montreux opens in 

front of you. Short walk from the railway station to your hotel and overnight in Montreux. 


After your breakfast you may take some more time to explore Montreux and its beautiful surroundings.

Day 1: Arrival Lucerne 

Transfer by train from the border, airport or any other destination in Switzerland to Lucerne. Short 

walk from the railway station to your hotel. Depending on arrival time opportunity to discover 

the Old Town. Lucerne lies on the river Reuss, at the end of Lake Lucerne, framed by impressive 

mountains. The city has been a stronghold of tourism since 1840, thanks to the well-preserved 

Old Town with its Chapel Bridge and Water Tower. Overnight in Lucerne. 

Day 2: Mount Titlis, Mount Pilatus or Stanserhorn (optional tours) 

Titlis - Mount Titlis is the highest glacier excursion destination and biggest ski and snowboard 

paradise in Central Switzerland. The Titlis, Engelberg‘s ‚house mountain‘, and its glacier park are 

accessible by revolving rotair cableway. At an altitude of 3020 metres above sea level visitors are 

treated to a fabulous view of the central Alps. 

Pilatus - The panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway will take you to the summit of Mount 

Pilatus (7000 ft / 2132 m). From here you will enjoy unforgettable views over the surrounding

Brienz. The vacation destination, which is presided over by the three mighty mountains, Eiger,

Day 4: Interlaken / Excursion Jungfraujoch 

The Jungfrau Railway, which leads through the heart of the mountains and up to the highest train

Bookings 

Please send your booking request to touroperating@stc.ch. All packages can be booked freesale 

up to 7 days prior arrival, thereafter on request. This excludes black-out dates for fairs, congresses 

and special events. Child prices is available on request only. Confirmed bookings can only be 

cancelled as per below cancellation conditions. 

Commission 

STC pays the following commission on gross amounts stated in attached FIT offers: 

• 20% to tour operators and wholesalers 

• 10% to travel agencies 

The commission will be deducted and net amount invoiced. 

Payment 

The full amount of the tour must be received by STC prior to the first departure day of the tour. 

If the payment is not being received 3 working days prior to the start of the tour, we reserve the 

right to cancel the services. For bookings made within 14 days before departure, full credit card 

payment will be required.
