Day 1: Arrival Chur<br />
Transfer from border/airport to Chur. Take advantage of the included Swiss Card and enjoy some<br />
excursions in the region. Switzerland’s oldest city charms visitors with its fine mountain setting,<br />
twisting alleys and historic buildings. Numerous boutiques, restaurants, bars, museums and galleries<br />
in the largely traffic-free Old Town create a Mediterranean-style atmosphere.<br />
Overnight in Chur.<br />
Day 2: Bernina Express<br />
After breakfast board the narrow-gauge Bernina Express at Chur station and enjoy one of the<br />
most impressive scenic rail journeys in Switerland. Climbing over the spectacular Bernina Pass<br />
to more than 2,253m (7,391 ft) you pass snowcovered mountain peaks and glaciers to descent<br />
towards Poschiavo and Brusio. Once arrived in Tirano (border to Italy) there is about one hour<br />
leisure time to explore or for a quick lunch before returning to Chur. Optional: You can also travel<br />
one way by Swiss postal bus via St. Moritz and one way by Bernina Express. Please indicate at<br />
time of booking.<br />

Day 3: Departure<br />
Morning at leisure. Explore the historic city centre of Chur. Alternatively return early to Zürich and<br />
enjoy a few hours in Switzerland`s largest city. Zurich offers a unique mixture of attractions – over<br />
50 museums and more than 100 art galleries, international fashion labels and Zurich designs, and<br />
the most flamboyant and lively nightlife in Switzerland. Recreational activities range from a visit<br />
to the riverside and lakeside bathing areas in the very heart of the city, to a spectacular hike on<br />
the Uetliberg mountain.<br />
