POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH<br />
We had 31 students join the IMB<br />
program throughout the year,<br />
21 of whom were international<br />
students from countries as<br />
diverse as China, India, Denmark,<br />
Norway, France and Singapore.<br />
This continues the recent trend<br />
of increased international<br />
enrolments, with overseas<br />
students now comprising slightly<br />
over 50 percent of our cohort.<br />
Our total number of active RHD<br />
students has stabilised at around<br />
130 students, with 27 students<br />
completing their degree in <strong>2010</strong><br />
(<strong>for</strong> a full list see page 73). While<br />
some of our graduates have<br />
remained within IMB to complete<br />
research projects, many have<br />
taken up positions both locally<br />
and overseas (<strong>for</strong> details see<br />
page 73).
