STUDENT ACTIVITIES<br />

The Office of Student Activities provides a variety of educational, cultural, and social<br />

experiences for <strong>student</strong>s, faculty, and staff and members of the community. Student activities<br />

and organizations are open to all interested <strong>student</strong>s. Student clubs currently include the<br />

Anime Club, Art Club, Chess Club, Chemistry Club, Disciples of Christ Club, Elements of Life Club,<br />

Future Teachers Club, Human Services Club, Joyful Noize Club, Martial Arts Club, Multicultural<br />

Student Association, Nutrition/Biology Club, Philosophy Club, Nursing Students’ Association,<br />

Student Veterans Association, Theatre Club, and the Truth Seekers Club. Students may seek<br />

leadership opportunities through participation in the JTCC Student Council Cabinet. The <strong>College</strong><br />

also has two chapters of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two‐year<br />

colleges. The Office of Student Activities also coordinates <strong>student</strong> ID cards, voter registration,<br />

community service projects, <strong>student</strong> travel programs, <strong>student</strong> emergency fund, and club and<br />

intramural athletics. Students who are interested in participating in any aspect of the <strong>student</strong><br />

activities program, or who wish additional information on events and organizations, should<br />

contact the Student Activities Offices in Moyar Hall, Room M132 on the Chester Campus or<br />

Administration Building, Room B213 at the Midlothian Campus, or on‐line at<br />

<strong>student</strong>activities@jtcc.edu.<br />
