Abner Maynard, son <strong>of</strong> Abigail <strong>Rice</strong>, born Nov. 27, 1753, died<br />

in <strong>the</strong> Army in 1775.<br />

Amos <strong>Rice</strong>, Feb. 17, 1743, one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Committee <strong>of</strong> Correspondence,<br />

1775, and was at Lexington Alarm, and 2nd. Lieut.<br />

1777, in Col. Job Cushing's regiment. Afterwards Captain.<br />

Died Dec. 14, 1827, in his 85th year.<br />

Benjamin <strong>Rice</strong>, born Feb. 1, 1722-23. "Captain; Selectman;<br />

and Representative." Died in Brookfield, Mass., Feb. 8, 1796,<br />

aged 73.<br />

Jonas <strong>Rice</strong>, born June 30, 1731. Was in Caldwell's Co. Aug.<br />

1757, for Fort William and Henry; also in <strong>the</strong> Army <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Revolution and died in Service in 1776.<br />

Jason <strong>Rice</strong>, son <strong>of</strong> above, born May 14, 1756. In Hamilton's<br />

Co., July 4, 1778, at Fishkill.<br />

Levi <strong>Rice</strong>, born Apr. 13, 1760. In Hamilton's Co. July 4, 1778<br />

at Fishkill, aged 18, and in 1780 under Miller six months.<br />

Asa <strong>Rice</strong>, Aug. 8, 1732. A soldier in <strong>the</strong> French War, from<br />

Westboro, and belonged to Capt. Bezaleel Eager<br />

's Co. in 1757.<br />

Zebulon <strong>Rice</strong>, born Feb. 27, 1711-12. A soldier in Fay's Co.<br />

1757, from Westboro.<br />

Joel <strong>Rice</strong>, born Apr. 13, 1760, was a soldier in <strong>the</strong> War <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Revolution, from Greenfield, 3 months, 25 days, in Day's Company,<br />

7th Regt. and on military rolls marked "dead" (Died in<br />

Service. )<br />

Adam <strong>Rice</strong>, born Aug. 18. 1715. A soldier from Westboro, in<br />

Capt. Benj. Fay's Co., 1757.<br />

Oliver <strong>Rice</strong>, May 2, 1717. Soldier from Hardwick in 1757.<br />

1727, a soldier in Capt. B. Fay's<br />

Co., 1757. Also in <strong>the</strong> War <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Rev. and in Barn's Co.,<br />

15th Regt. and on rolls marked "dead."<br />

Sam'l. S., son <strong>of</strong> above, born May 3, 1759, a soldier <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Rev. in Lee's Co., Smith's Regt.<br />

Charles <strong>Rice</strong>, born March 1, 1731, a soldier from Westboro, in<br />

John Taplin's Co., six months in 1755, also in 1757 in Capt.<br />

Fay's Co.<br />

Stephen <strong>Rice</strong>, Mar. 15, 1737. Delegates to Conventions <strong>of</strong><br />

1774 and 1775. Lieut. Col. in Reg't. <strong>of</strong> Job Gushing, Col.<br />

Warner's Brigade on Nor<strong>the</strong>rn frontier, 1777. Representative<br />

from Hardwick 1775 and again in 1784. Died at Hardwick,<br />

Nov. 24, 1831, in his 95th year.<br />

Thomas <strong>Rice</strong>, <strong>of</strong> Westboro, Nov. 27, 1734, Captain. Graduate<br />
