Robeson Early College says goodbye to Dr. Chrestman
and hello to the next generation
Dr. Chrestman was honored with a
going away ice cream social by
Robeson Early college students
and staff February 26. Mr. Russell
Scott (left) and SGA President
Evan Floyd (right) gave several
words of thanks and gratitude on
behalf of the students and staff of
ECHS to Dr. Chrestman for the
years of help and support he has
shown as we ventured into
unfamiliar territories. Also
commenting on Dr. Chrestmans
support of ECHS was Mrs. Sheila
Gasque, Principal of ECHS.
When asked if he was packed up
and ready to go Dr. Chrestman
replied “I’m packed up and ready
to fly.” Dr. Chrestman has been a
tremendous source of support
and encouragement to the
students and staff at Early
College. It was hard to hold back
the tears as we said goodbye to a
man, who to us, was a great
person, a great friend, and a great
source of help and inspiration.
