ARTICLE III<br />

DISTRICTS AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS<br />

PERTAINING TO EACH DISTRICT<br />

C. There shall be a minimum <strong>of</strong> one (1) tree per each five thousand (5,000) square feet<br />

<strong>of</strong> area within the lot remaining after deduction <strong>of</strong> any required public street right-<strong>of</strong>way.<br />

D. Required trees shall be a minimum two (2) inches in diameter at the time <strong>of</strong> planting<br />

and shall be located between the street and the leading edge <strong>of</strong> any building.<br />

Diameter measurements shall be taken six (6) inches above grade.<br />

SECTION 7 – SCREENING<br />

A. Within three (3) feet <strong>of</strong> side and rear lot lines which abut single-family or two-family<br />

residential zoning districts, an opaque screening device to a minimum height <strong>of</strong> six<br />

(6) feet must be employed. Such screening device may be either natural or<br />

constructed, but shall be compatible with the building materials used on site.<br />

B. All refuse collection containers shall be screened from public view on at least three<br />

(3) sides by an opaque screening device equal to the height <strong>of</strong> the refuse collection<br />

container. Such screening device shall be constructed <strong>of</strong> either wood or masonry<br />

materials and shall be compatible with the building materials used on site.<br />

SECTION 8 - SIGNAGE<br />

Only ground and wall signs shall be permitted. No directly or indirectly illuminated sign<br />

shall be permitted within fifty (50) feet <strong>of</strong> a single-family or two-family residential zoning<br />

district boundary line.<br />

A. Ground Sign<br />

1. A lot shall contain no more than one sign per street frontage, provided however,<br />

that no more than one (1) sign per lot shall be located along a single street.<br />

2. The minimum separation between signs shall be two hundred (200) feet<br />

measured in a straight line.<br />

3. The maximum height shall not exceed fifteen (15) feet above grade.<br />

4. The maximum area per sign face shall not exceed two hundred (200) square feet<br />

which shall be determined by measuring the area <strong>of</strong> the smallest box which<br />

would entirely enclose all elements <strong>of</strong> the sign.<br />

B. Wall Sign<br />

1. The maximum area <strong>of</strong> all signage shall not exceed fifteen (15) percent <strong>of</strong> the<br />

building face upon which the signage is mounted, but in no event shall a single<br />

sign exceed two hundred (200) square feet which shall be determined by<br />
