A new information exchange platform has been added
to the Summit website this year, bringing with it a highly
interactive way of presenting and gathering ideas, facts
and data surrounding this year’s Summit programme.
The Interactive Web Channel acts as an editor-managed
weblog with the aim of preparing the ground for debate
in the run up to the Summit panel sessions. The Channel
is divided into thematic areas focusing on the key issues
relevant to each individual session of the programme.
The platform is initiated with quotes from lead
contributors for the given session, as a catalyst and seed
for discussion. The Channel is open to contributions
from anyone and comments will be made live on the
website via the Web Channel Editor.
We plan to make our time in Lisbon even more
productive than in past summits. The Web Channel
will bring into The Round provocative and stimulating
thoughts put forward, via the Web Channel, by a
widespread international network of contributors.
