TXP Process Control System Prerequisites A basic background in control system graphics and control logic, and prior experience with DCS control systems is desirable. Prior completion of Graphics Configuration (TXP-GC) is highly recommended. Description This course is designed for the technician responsible for graphics maintenance of the TXP system. Students will learn how to maintain TXP graphics with the human machine interface editor. They will also learn how to transfer new graphic displays into an existing project and work with configurable trends. TXP Process Control System TXP Process Control System Advanced Logic Configuration TXP-ALC 1 week - $2,650.00 May 8-12, 2006 Prerequisites A basic background in logic control, TXP logic and digital computer techniques. Prior completion of Control Logic Configuration (TXP-CLC) is recommended. Description This course emphasizes the tasks performed by design and maintenance personnel. This course describes various advanced logical functions in the TXP system. Participants will work with the engineering workstation to design open- and closed-loop logic functions. The standard TXP manual will be used as a reference. Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, the student has been trained to: • Create and configure open-loop control functions • Create and configure closed-loop control functions • Troubleshoot TXP logic Course contents A.
