Life Curves<br />
The estimated travel life indicates the approximate<br />
expected travel life from the roller screw mechanism<br />
within the GSM30 at indicated cubic mean load. The<br />
chart below represents L 10 travel life estimates. The<br />
reliability for these values is 9.0%. For higher than 9.0%<br />
reliability, the result should be multiplied by the<br />
following factors: 9.5% x 0.62; 9.6% x 0.53; 9.7% x 0.44;<br />
9.8% x 0.33; 9.9.% x 0.21. This information assumes that<br />
the roller screw is properly maintained and lubricated.<br />
The equation used to calculate the L 10 life is: Travel (C/F) 3<br />
(lead) in millions of inches/mm. Where C = the dynamic<br />
load rating of the screw and F is the cubic mean load<br />
rating of the application. For higher than 9.0% reliability,<br />
