You should ga<strong>the</strong>r relevant and reliable informati<strong>on</strong> to help determine <strong>the</strong> classificati<strong>on</strong><br />
for each of your substances. This informati<strong>on</strong> may include:<br />
• results of tests carried out according to <strong>the</strong> Test Method Regulati<strong>on</strong> (EC) No<br />
440/2008 (<strong>CLP</strong> Article 5(1)(a));<br />
• results of testing carried out according to sound scientific principles that are<br />
internati<strong>on</strong>ally recognized or methods validated according to internati<strong>on</strong>al<br />
procedures (<strong>CLP</strong> Article 5(1)(a) and Article 8(3)). This includes results of testing<br />
based <strong>on</strong> methods or standards as laid down in <strong>the</strong> UN Manual of Tests and<br />
Criteria and which are referred to in Part 2 of Annex I;<br />
• results of <strong>the</strong> applicati<strong>on</strong> of n<strong>on</strong>-test methods such as (Q)SAR, read-across,<br />
category approach (<strong>CLP</strong> Article 5(1)(c)) and secti<strong>on</strong> 1 of Annex XI to REACH) and<br />
