at Sea
Watch ten-time World Sand Sculpture
Champion Kevin Crawford as he masterfully
creates an underwater world on Dampier’s
foreshore and in Karratha’s Youth Shed.
Come and watch as the sculptures transform
and evolve into an underwater reef scene
across the first week of REAF.
You will also have the rare opportunity to
try sand sculpture for yourself. Our master
sculptors will get you going on your own sand
sculpture at various times throughout the
week. Check in at the venue for times.
Voices
and
Lights
As the moon rises and the tide wanes, a chorus of
voices interwoven with poetry will soar to create a
magical soundscape throughout Hearson’s Cove.
Projections and light sculptures will complete this
etheral intallation, further adding to the already
famous experience of the Burrup Pennisula.
Come down with family and friends and enjoy
a BBQ or picnic on the beach, all with the beautiful
backdrop of the moon rising: an experience not to
be missed!
