THE DRY SUMP PLATE FOR DELKRON<br />
CRANKCASES<br />
For those of you who want <strong>the</strong> option to suck<br />
<strong>the</strong> oil out-of <strong>the</strong> lower end of <strong>the</strong> sump, this<br />
fixture will allow you to get that oil before it<br />
is thrown around <strong>the</strong> engine a couple of more<br />
times, which makes for less drag on <strong>the</strong><br />
flywheels. It is made of T356-T6 aluminum<br />
and bolts right up to all Delkron crankcases.<br />
Comes complete with gasket, mounting<br />
screws and 3/8" hose fitting. Replacement<br />
gasket fits all Delkron sump plates including<br />
dry sump plate.<br />

DELKRON’S BILLET ALUMINUM 4 CAM BIG-<br />
TWIN CRANKCASE<br />
Strong, Stronger, Strongest, Here it is, "<strong>the</strong><br />
Crankcase Of The Third Millennium". It utilizes<br />
<strong>the</strong> superior valve train geometry of a<br />
Sportster but has <strong>the</strong> strength of <strong>the</strong> Big- Twin<br />
flywheel assembly. The cam location is <strong>the</strong><br />
same as stock Evolution Sportster cases<br />
from 1986 thru 1990, so all available cams<br />
for this engine type will bolt right into this<br />
case. The crankcase and cam cover are<br />
made from 6061- T6 aluminum, which insures<br />
uniform strength and hardness throughout. A<br />
minimum overall case thickness of .400", a<br />
left side case thickness of more than 1.250"<br />
and almost .900" of case between <strong>the</strong><br />
flywheel cavity and <strong>the</strong> cam location surface<br />
provides <strong>the</strong> most rigid flywheel support of<br />
any crankcase available today. The drive side<br />
of <strong>the</strong> case is machined to accept late model<br />
Timken bearings for <strong>the</strong> 1 1/4" sprocket<br />
shaft, while <strong>the</strong> pinion side is machined to<br />
accept a single Timken and ball bearing<br />
configuration in combination with an aircraft<br />
quality high contact ball bearing for maximum<br />
flywheel support. The oiling system is a dry<br />
pump system with <strong>the</strong> scraper at <strong>the</strong> bottom<br />
of <strong>the</strong> case and uses <strong>the</strong> more efficient late<br />
model Sportster rotary type oil pump or any<br />
type Pro-Flow Sportster pump for better<br />
pressure and scavenge ability. We stock <strong>the</strong><br />
street version of <strong>the</strong>se bullet-proof<br />
crankcases, which accept our 4 5/8"<br />
Flywheels and Spu<strong>the</strong> cylinders. All o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
combinations are possible, but are made to<br />
order only. They can be ordered with cylinder<br />
bore up to 4 1/2" O.D., cylinder deck height<br />
up to 1" over stock and flywheel diameter<br />
clearance up to 8 1/4", plus many o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
options which are preferred. Please state<br />
deck height, cylinder spigot size, flywheel<br />
diameter, lifter block type and bolt pattern,<br />
plus any o<strong>the</strong>r options wanted when ordering<br />
a crankcase. We even can supply you a Full<br />
Race crankcase, which features a solid left<br />
side, without <strong>the</strong> cutout for <strong>the</strong> alternator<br />
stator and without <strong>the</strong> facility for upper end<br />
oiling through <strong>the</strong> lifter blocks. For <strong>the</strong> race<br />
cases <strong>the</strong>re is <strong>the</strong> option for extra heavy duty<br />
1 1/2" sprocket shaft bearing size for use<br />
with race type 1 1/2" sprocket shaft for all<br />
out racing.<br />
