The OCA Postings service matches
up people looking for summer camp
work with the directors of their
member camps - There are over 300
of them. If you are 17 years of age
by July 1, 2008 then you are eligible
to apply for any of OCA’s job board
postings. Simply fill out an application
form online and participate in the
OCA’s Postings Service. Once OCA
receives your completed application,
your information is put into an
application database where camp
directors can view them at any time.

GRIMSBY
The Town of Grimsby’s Recreation,
Facilities and Culture Department
hires students for the following
summer positions: Camp Leaders,
Camp Supervisors, Lifeguards and
Swimming Instructors (Red Cross
Program). There are approximately
30 positions to be filled each
summer, applicants should be at
least 16 yrs old and hold the
applicable qualifications. Volunteer
opportunities are also available for
all programs; applicants must be
14 yrs old.

Haldimand County hires seasonally
for various positions including day
camp, aquatic and park maintenance
staff and within their arenas.

NIAGARA FALLS
The City hires certified lifeguards
for the Recreation and Culture
(minimum age requirement: 16).
Limited opportunities are also

PELHAM
There are about 22 positions to
be filled. Hiring takes place for
lifeguard/instructors, summer camp
leaders, and parks and operations
maintenance. You must be at least
16 years of age and possess
appropriate certifications for the
position. All positions require current
First Aid and CPR. Applications may
be picked up at the Pelham
Municipal Building. The closing date
is the end of January. Application

PORT COLBORNE

the middle of January. Recruitment is
done through a lottery process and
preference may be given to returning

to work shift work, weekends
