Vec<strong>to</strong>rs<br />
1. Each vec<strong>to</strong>r is tested for transposition efficiency in<strong>to</strong> bacmid DNA upon<br />
transformation in<strong>to</strong> MAX Efficiency ® DH10<strong>Bac</strong> competent cells following<br />
the procedure on page 21. Transposition frequency should be greater than 8%<br />
(% white colonies).<br />
2. Restriction analysis with the enzymes below is performed on each vec<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong><br />
confirm its identity. Restriction digests must demonstrate the correct banding<br />
pattern when electrophoresed on an agarose gel.<br />
