Whitminster now has a community neighbourhood warden. Police surgeries are held
at the village hall and Whitminster has a local police officer.

Since the questionnaire was carried out, the Village Link Bus Service has been
discontinued. When asked about bus services, a very high number of respondents
want a bus service to Stonehouse and Stroud and to the Frampton-on-Severn
surgery.

The majority of respondents were dissatisfied with; speed control measures,
pedestrian/cyclist safety, and parking facilities within the village
The majority of respondents were dissatisfied with speed control on the A38,
pedestrian/cyclist safety on the A38, parking facilities on the A38 (Whitminster
Stores, Pizza and Chip Shop, Public House)
The majority of respondents 41% would like more parking restrictions.
The majority of respondents 78% would like a pedestrian crossing near the shop.
The majority of respondents 47% would like traffic lights at School Lane/A38

The majority of those who responded work within 10 miles of Whitminster, and the
majority of these use a car to travel to work, 3 walk to work and 1 cycles.
12 households would be interested in a car share scheme. A further 2 said
“possibly”.
