When asked if they thought <strong>Whitminster</strong> School was large enough for the village, the<br />

majority said no.<br />

When asked if they thought the school would benefit from more permanent buildings,<br />

the majority said yes.<br />

The top 5 most used village amenities in this age group were;<br />

1 st - <strong>Whitminster</strong> Stores & Chip Shop<br />

2 nd - Garden Centre<br />

3 rd - Village Hall<br />

4 th - Post Office & Chinese Takeaway<br />

5 th - Attwools & Pizza Shop<br />

When asked if they would attend further activities if the school provided them, 81%<br />

said „yes‟. The top suggestions were;<br />

Dance Classes Modern & Ballet<br />

Art & Craft Club<br />

Sport classes (including; Rugby Club, Rounders, Football)<br />

Drama and Music<br />

When asked about bus services, the majority did not use the village link or other<br />

public bus services. Those who use the public bus services suggested that more<br />

busses to Stonehouse/<strong>Stroud</strong> and evening busses were needed.<br />

When asked if they thought that vehicles speed too fast through the village, 86%<br />

said „yes‟.<br />

When asked if they felt safe crossing the road, the majority said crossing the road in<br />

the village was OK. The majority said that crossing the A38 was not good.<br />
