November 27: The Senior Center’s
Hearing Clinic begins at 9:00 AM. Have a
hearing test and receive hearing information as
well as hearing aid cleaning and minor repairs.

November 28: Today’s the day we celebrate
the birthday of every Windsor senior born in
November. Call 285-1843 the day before and let
us know you are a birthday person. Your lunch is
free and we’ll even sing “Happy Birthday”
to you. The celebration takes place from 11:45
AM to 12:30 PM. Call 285-1843 to sign up for
lunch.
November 29: The Senior Foot Clinic
begins at 9:00 AM at the Senior Center. $22.00
payable to the nurse. Call 285-1992 to sign up.

December 4: This month’s AARP meeting, a
holiday pot luck, takes place at the Senior Center
from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Everyone 50+ is welcome
to join the AARP Windsor Chapter. Visit and
learn about the benefits and programs. Meetings
are held on the first Tuesday of every month.
$3.00 per year membership. Call 688-2515 for

December 4: Internet Classes will be held
in the Senior Center from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Tuesdays through December 18. Come and see
our new lab! Learn how to get onto the Internet,
look up information, receive E-mail and much
more. When not being used for classes
our lab is yours for the using! $15.00 for
Windsor residents, $23.00 for non-residents.

Dr. Stephen Burt. Remember the true spirit of
Christmas. Reminisce with Dr. Steve Burt author
of A Christmas Dozen From the Christmas Story
Pastor and Inserts in Chicken Soup for the Soul
as he reads 4-5 Christmas stories at the Senior

December 5: Diabetic Support Group
meets today. If you suffer from diabetes or know
someone who does, join us for an informative
diabetes support group meeting. A guest speaker
will update you on changes and developments
that relate to diabetes. Meets at the L.P. Wilson
Community Center from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

December 7: The Senior Holiday Party is
a wonderful time to get together in the spirit of
the season to share food and good cheer. Come
and join us on December 7 from 1:00 PM to
3:00 PM at the Senior Center. Fun will be had

December 11: Back by popular demand.
Come and join us for some holiday joy. Memories
are ready to be made as we immerse ourselves
in an enchanting winter wonderland of 500,000
twinkling lights at historic Forest Park in
Springfield, Mass. We will have a special treat in
store for those who attend. Hurry! This one
fills fast. The bus leaves the Senior Center at
5:30 PM and will return by 8:30 PM. $7.00.

Senior Center today from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
No appointment necessary but please bring your

December 14: Enjoy a relaxing trip to the
Mohegan Sun Casino in Norwich. The bus
will leave the Senior Center at 8:00 AM and
will return by 5:00 PM. Try your hand at the
slots or the tables. $18.00 residents, $23.00
non-residents. Meal and betting vouchers will

Seniors will meet today from 10:30 AM to
11:30 AM in the Windsor Public Library’s upstairs
Conference Room to discuss Morgan’s Run, by
Colleen McCullough. Copies of the book will be
available at the Checkout Desk for three weeks

December 18: Windsor’s Low-Vision/
Blind Support Group meets today from
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the L.P. Wilson
Community Center. This group is for persons who
have low vision or who are blind as well as their
caregivers. The group will have the opportunity to
gain information through speakers, accessing the
community as well as a chance to share concerns
