If you like cooking and trying new foods
you will love experimenting with
cooking pie iron grilled cheese
sandwiches, Dutch oven stews, and
solar s’mores. Plan what you eat, what
new things to try, how to cook them, and
where to eat your creations. Learn tips
from the camp cooks and help prepare a
delicious treat for the rest of camp.

Night Owls
CAMP
Spend the week staying up late and
sleeping in, creating funky glow-in-the
dark crafts to see your way around when
night falls. Make delicious midnight
snacks to curb the nighttime munchies.
We’ll go star-gazing to learn about the
constellations and take night hikes to see
which animals are awake in the middle of
the night. If the early morning isn’t
your thing, this camp session is!

Messy Madness
CAMP
Pack your oldest clothes and spend the
week creating all the messy fun you can
imagine. Stomp around in the muddy
creek and woods on a scavenger hunt,
break out the face paint for a messy
makeover complete with a wacky hair
contest, and get covered from head to
toe in shaving cream before heading
down a giant slip ‘n’ slide to rinse off. All
you need is a sense of adventure and a
little soap to get clean at the end of the
week!

Sail Away
CAMP
Ahoy, matey! Spend the week sailing the
high seas of Lake Bloomington. Develop
your knot-tying skills to keep your sails
and boat in ship-shape and give an ol’
heave-ho as you practice boat rescues
and tip tests with ease. With the lines in
your hands and your friends by your side,
let the winds fill the sails of your ship
and lead you across open waters. When
you’re ready to dry off, hit the trails
and find some treasures during a
geocaching adventure and head to the
lodge for a slumber party, pirate snacks,
and a pirate-inspired movie!

Anchors
CAMP
Do you prefer canoeing around the lake
or aiming for the bullseye with your bow
and arrow Get the best of both
worlds - work on archery skills during the
morning and try out all the camp boats
in the afternoon. At the end of the week
we’ll pack a sack lunch and head off in
canoes to Pine Ridge, where we’ll enjoy
an archery competition.

Trekkers
CAMP
Explore camp and sleep in a new place
every night. Enjoy a private beach party
and sleep under the stars. Then it’s
off to a spa and movie night in the lodge.
Finally, head out for a night of camping in
Pine Ridge after a day of archery. When
you aren’t packing for your next move or
setting up your tent, you’ll have plenty of
time to go swimming, zip down the water
slide, learn some new outdoor cooking
skills, and play goofy games with your
counselors and friends.
