SCOOP THE POOP!!!
To those of us who enjoy using the domain, Rutherford
Reserve and township for exercising dogs and horses
please remember to scoop up the poop. We are very
privileged in this community to be able to freely walk our
pets and it is our responsibility to clean up after them.
COMMUNITY WORKING BEE -
Saturday 25th February 9am
A working bee will be held in the Rutherford Reserve to
extend the irrigation line and also for a general tidy up.
All interested members of the community are invited to
attend and to please bring along a shovel, rake and
wheelbarrow.

Decorated Bike competition - Four classes - preschoolers on tricycles or bikes, 5 year olds, 6

The judge wants children to decorate their bikes themselves.

Zealanders at high risk of complications:

• Anyone under 65 years of age with longterm

disease, Diabetes, cancer, other eligible
conditions)
• Pregnant women

Why get an influenza immunisation
• It doesn’t matter how fit and healthy you
are – you can still get influenza
• Influenza is usually mild to moderate but
can be serious and lead to complications,
even death
• A bout of influenza can keep you or your
employees from work, sport of just about
anything that requires leaving the house for
a week or more
• Influenza vaccine cannot cause influenza
because it contains no live viruses. It
simply irritates the virus so your body
creates antibodies to make you immune to

Billy TK jnr is on a roll - he has just co headlined the Fiji 2011 International Jazz & Blues Festival, The Sydney Blues
Festival with performances in Australia as well as being only a small handful of NZ artists invited to perform at the 2012
Tauranga Jazz Festival with Keb Mo and Earth Wind and Fire.
“I closed the Sydney festival on the main stage which is awesome for a little Kiwi fella like me,” he laughs during a
recent interview. He says that as he prepares for more shows over New Zealand, Australia and in the pacific and
finishing an album.
Billy has toured widely in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Supporting Jimmy Barnes at the 'A
Day on the Green concert series, Billy was invited to play lead guitar with Barnesy as special guest on two songs after
recording critically acclaimed albums and touring with George Thorogood, the Neville Brothers, Junior Wells, Mississippi
Willie Foster and Joe Satriani.
According to George Thorogood, “Billy has got the whole blues guitar thang down.” Aussie guitar hero Ian Moss has
described Billy as playing “like Stevie Ray Vaughan on steroids!”
So what can people expect from a Billy TK Jnr show Billy says ' The best thing to say is they can expect to hear some
passionate and powerful blues guitar playing of the electric kind'!
