AS-Interface (AS-I) is a simple robust
fieldbus system ideally suited to low
level machine control.

Simple design
Complicated wiring is replaced by a
single yellow AS-I cable which carries
both power and information to all
devices. This simplifies system design
and greatly reduces installation costs.
A secondary black power cable is used
when extra power or separate
emergency stop facilities are required.

5ms controller cycle time makes AS-I
ideal for high speed applications.
