The 2002 international sales
conference was officially opened by
Peter Dunand at the Meridien Hotel in
York, UK on the 20th of September.

International Sales Conference in York.
distributors from around the world received
awards for outstanding sales performance and
growth. These were ALW GmbH of Germany,
The A. R. Thomson Group of Canada and
Calkins Technical Products, Inc. of the USA.
This prestigious event was attended by over
150 distributors and employees from all around
the world and saw the launch of some highly
important products and ideas.
The event was also a showcase for many new
types of software including an online API seal
selection and calculation device and a new type
of generic product selector.
The event was also an opportunity to recognise
significant contributions to the company during
the last year.
Rich Greatti, US Vice President of Sales, won
the Global Sales Award 2002 for his part in
winning important multinational sales contracts
over the last year.
Tom Grove won the Peter Dunand Award for
outstanding sales success. Three AESSEAL ®
The new multinational AESSEAL ® website was
also officially unveiled which, as a result of 3
months work, contains many new
developments.
These include the majority of the website
translated into 5 languages, all literature and
installation instructions available in all
languages to be viewed or downloaded straight
from the web, a new news archive and the
corporate video live on the site.
Gold Award from Thames Water
AESSEAL ® has received Gold
Supplier Performance status for
2000/2001.
The award is based on Thames Water
Engineers’ comments on the products and
services that they receive from AESSEAL plc.
A six-monthly review of performance against
Thames Water’s exacting standards is
undertaken. A minimum of 80% achievement is
required to meet Gold status.
