REPORT for year ended 31 DECEMBER 2008
The Directors have pleasure in submitting their report and the audited financial statements of the Group and of the
Company for the year ended 31 December 2008.
Principal activities
The Company is principally engaged in investment holding and provision of management services, whilst the principal
activities of the subsidiaries are as stated in Note 31 to the financial statements. There has been no significant change
in the nature of these activities during the financial year.

Reserves and provisions
There were no material transfers to or from reserves and provisions during the year except as disclosed in the
financial statements.
Dividends
Since the end of the previous financial year, the Company paid an interim ordinary dividend of 4 sen per share less
tax at 26% totaling RM31,065,463 (2.96 sen net per share) in respect of the year ended 31 December 2007 on 18
April 2008.
On 24 February 2009, the Board of Directors declared an interim ordinary dividend of 1 sen per share less tax at
25% totaling RM29,524,538 (0.75 sen net per share) and 0.5 sen per share tax exempt totaling RM19,683,029 in
respect of the year ended 31 December 2008. The dividend was paid on 18 March 2009.
No final dividend is recommended to be paid for the year under review.
