Remove Command Determine the package name:
Sample Output
Fedora Core 16 (32 and 64 bit)
# rpm -qa | grep Nessus
Use the output from the above command to remove the package:
# rpm -e
# rpm -qa | grep -i nessus
Nessus-5.0.1-es5
# rpm -e Nessus-5.0.1-es5

Remove Command Determine the package name:
# rpm -qa | grep Nessus
Use the output from the above command to remove the package:
# rpm -e
SuSE 10 (64 bit), 11 (32 and 64 bit)
Remove Command Determine the package name:
Debian 6 (32 and 64 bit)
# rpm -qa | grep Nessus
Use the output from the above command to remove the package:
# rpm -e
Remove Command Determine the package name:
# dpkg -l | grep -i nessus
Use the output from the above command to remove the package:
# dpkg -r
