INTERVIEW | KEITH HOBBS
Keith Hobbs
THE CEO OF LONDON-BASED UNITED DESIGN PARTNERSHIP, TALKED
TO ULTRA PRIMUS ABOUT WORKING WITH SOME OF THE WORLD'S
MOST PRESTIGIOUS PROPERTY BRANDS, DESIGNING ULTRA PRIME
PROPERTIES AND HAVING HOLLYWOOD STARS AS CLIENTS
A project Keith completed for Bruce Willis
Keith, thank you for taking the time out to
speak to us. For those readers not aware
of your company, can you summarise the
services offered by United Design Partnership
and where we may have viewed or experienced
your work
I founded United 20 years ago. In the early days
United was best known for luxury hospitality, bar and
restaurant interior designs such as the iconic Dolder
Grand hotel in Zurich, The Metropolitan hotel in London
(including the Met Bar and Nobu restaurant), The
Clarence hotel in Dublin (for U2’s Bono and Edge),
Galvin at Windows and Maze Grill by Gordon Ramsay
to name but a few.
In 2008 we were approached by business property
tycoon Gerald Ronson to work on his new ultra prime
residential project in the heart of the City – The Heron.
Since then United has built up a strong residential
portfolio which includes the penthouses at the two
recent developments by Berkeley Group: The Tower,
One St George Wharf and Cambridge Penthouse,
One Tower Bridge.
Today the company is busier than ever and has
a reputation for outstanding luxury interior designs
with over 200 international projects in 20 countries.
