shirt which are only available through the school and the skirt as listed above.
Students are expected to wear sensible conventional footwear, based on buckled, 'slipon'
or laced leather designs. Trainers or any shoe that looks like trainers are not to be
be worn in classrooms. Headgear (other than the exception above) may only be worn
on the school premises during extreme weather conditions and on no account into the
school buildings. Students will not wear make-up in school. No denim clothing can be
worn in school. If a student loses a tie, he/she should go to the school office as soon as
possible to purchase a replacement.
Please check the uniform list carefully before purchasing uniform to ensure you buy
appropriate uniform of the right colour and design.
It is sometimes unavoidable for a child to wear non-school uniform for a short period. If
this is the case, a note from the parent, explaining why uniform is not being worn, must
be brought in to school. This should be addressed to the Headteacher and should
indicate how long permission is requested. A Uniform Pass may be issued by the
Pastoral Manager for a strictly limited period of time.
The School reserves the right not to accept the wearing of any item of clothing
which is deemed to be inappropriate in terms of the stated uniform list.
