D. RESOLUTION #11-12, CHANGES TO ADOPTED BUDGET<br />
Approved Resolution #11-12 increasing/ the revenue and expenditures for<br />
the following funds:<br />

E. GRANTS<br />
Approved approve the submission of new grant applications and renewals/amendments of<br />
existing grants as presented, and authorized expenditure of funds upon their award and<br />
receipt.<br />
New<br />
Resolution #12-12, Facilities Renovation and Repair, submitted by Joel Gordon, in the<br />
amount of $18,960.00, from the California State Department of Education, with no district<br />
match required. This grant supports efforts to maintain a healthy, safe and accessible<br />
environment for children in subsidized child care and child development programs. (Award<br />
notification received)<br />
Career Technical Education (CTE) Entrepreneurship and Health Information Technology,<br />
submitted by Lorraine Wilson and Debra Sands-Miller, in the amount of $141,916.00, from<br />
the California Community <strong>College</strong> Chancellor’s Office, with a 10% in-kind district match in<br />
the form of salaries, benefits and facilities. This grant will support research and curriculum<br />
development for Entrepreneurship certificate program which will replace the Small<br />
Business Management certificate. (Pending award notification)<br />
Gateway to <strong>College</strong>, submitted by Jane Saldana-Talley, in the amount of $325,000.00,<br />
from the Gateway to <strong>College</strong> National Network, with no district match required. This is a<br />
dual credit program that serves youth who are unlikely to graduate high school, allowing<br />
them to earn a high school diploma while progressing toward a college degree or<br />
certificate. (Pending award notification)<br />
State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) Area 4 <strong>Board</strong> Cycle 35 Program<br />
Development, submitted by Lindsay Eigenauer and Laura Aspinall, in the amount of<br />
$15,000.00, from the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, with no district<br />
match required. This grant will provide funding to expand the Vocational Skills Coach job<br />
coaching portion of the <strong>College</strong> to Career program already in existence. (Pending award<br />

Renewal<br />
Resolution #13-12, California State Preschool Program, submitted by Joel Gordon, in the<br />
amount of $174,942.00, from the California State Department of Education, with no district<br />
match required. This grant provides a practicum experience for child development<br />
students and students from other disciplines, allows parents to attend classes and work<br />
while enrolled, and promotes the healthy growth and development of young children.<br />
