Are you interested in becoming a CPD Assessor?<br />

CPD Assessors will play a central role in the qualitative moni<strong>to</strong>ring of CPD <strong>and</strong> will be responsible<br />

for the effective assessment of a sample of the CPD logs submitted by individual practitioners for<br />

the renewal of their Practising Certificates. They will work under the direction of a Divisional CPD<br />

Lead Assessor, who will in turn report <strong>to</strong> a Society-wide committee.<br />

It will be important that CPD Assessors are experienced Chartered Psychologists holding a<br />

Practising Certificate, with a good working knowledge of the Society. A minimum time<br />

commitment of at least two days per quarter would be needed, plus attendance at an annual<br />

training day. Remuneration will be based on a fee per log assessed, <strong>to</strong>gether with reasonable<br />

expenses for relevant meeting attendance.<br />

A job description is available on request, with the selection of CPD Assessors being undertaken by<br />

divisional committees responsible for CPD. If you are interested <strong>and</strong> would like further<br />
