1.6 Dissemination Stages
1.6.1 Preliminary Findings
The preliminary findings of the Population, Housing and Establishments Census - 2007 were
disseminated on 7/2/2008 in the form of numbers at governorate and regional level (the West
Bank and Gaza Strip) and the Palestinian Territory. These results were preliminary since they
were compiled manually depending on the organization books of the census observers. The
results were disseminated in record time a month after finishing the fieldwork operations.
1.6.2 Final Findings
After completing the data processing stage in Gaza Strip, including editing, coding and data
entry of all questionnaires for each enumeration area, the final results for Gaza Strip were
disseminated in the report, including all the characteristics of individuals and households and
the final results of Gaza Strip and its governorates. The final detailed results are expected to
be disseminated during January 2012 - June 2012. The detailed results of the West Bank and
its governorates were disseminated during November 2008 - July 2009.
1.6.3 Analytical Reports
The analytical reports regarding population and social themes will be disseminated via the
dissemination project, which will be carried out by experts from universities and research
centers.
