Recycle<br />
The process of removing refrigerant from a system, filtering,<br />
drying and storing it in the recovery tank.<br />
3 Recycle is the <strong>on</strong>ly process that removes refrigerant.<br />
T<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> is not a separate recovery process.<br />
Recover<br />
The process of removing refrigerant from a system to prevent<br />
release of refrigerant into the atmosp<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g>. On your Kool Kare<br />
unit, this process is part of recycle.<br />
Evacuate<br />
The process of drawing a vacuum <strong>on</strong> a refrigerant system to<br />
remove air and moisture. On your Kool Kare unit, this process<br />
is known as vacuum.<br />
Charge<br />
The process of filling an air c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>ing system with refrigerant.<br />
Chargeable<br />
Referred to as Chargeable Amount <strong>on</strong> your Kool Kare unit<br />
screens. Chargeable Amount is the weight of refrigerant<br />
programmed into the unit for dispensing into the air c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>ing<br />
system.<br />
Purging<br />
The process of bleeding off air, other n<strong>on</strong>-c<strong>on</strong>densable gases<br />
and moisture from the recovery tank.<br />
Stable Scale<br />
The situati<strong>on</strong> w<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> the refrigerant weight measuring device<br />
reading becomes steady. Moving the unit may cause the scale<br />
reading to become unsteady.<br />
