Displaying Refrigerant Amount<br />
Tank Full/Empty<br />
Your Kool Kare unit verifies t<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> is enough refrigerant<br />
in tank to charge.<br />
— If t<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> is enough refrigerant, the C<strong>on</strong>necti<strong>on</strong> Check<br />
screen displays.<br />
— If t<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> is not enough refrigerant, the following<br />
message displays for five sec<strong>on</strong>ds, then the<br />
Charging screen displays:<br />
CHARGE AMOUNT SELECTED IS GREATER THAN<br />
‘CHARGEABLE’ IN TANK!<br />

to Kool Kare in this chapter.<br />
8. Select CONTINUE. The following messages display:<br />
PURGING AIR FROM TANK...PLEASE WAIT<br />
CHARGE SEQUENCE! WAITING FOR STABLE SCALE!<br />
CHARGE SEQUENCE! I AM CHARGING!<br />
3 Select HOLD to pause the charging sequence. Select<br />
CONTINUE to resume charging.<br />
COMPLETED!<br />
The procedure is complete when your Kool Kare unit<br />
beeps twice.<br />
Use this procedure to determine the amount of refrigerant in the<br />
recovery tank and the amount able to be charged.<br />
1. Select AMOUNT key. The Recovery Tank screen<br />
displays for five sec<strong>on</strong>ds.<br />
2. Select POUNDS or KGS to select a unit of measure.<br />
Read recovery tank weight.<br />
3. Select CHARGEABLE. The Chargeable screen displays<br />
for five sec<strong>on</strong>ds.<br />
4. Select POUNDS or KGS to select a unit of measure.<br />
Read amount.<br />
Messages display when the recovery tank is full or empty.<br />
3 The unit may be used to vacuum or charge an A/C<br />
system even when the recovery tank is full.<br />
