BUERTON is a township and village 2 miles east from<br />
Audlem. Here is a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, erected<br />
in 1891, and a United Free Gospel chapel, built in 1885.<br />
Hicrhfields, the seat of Charles Walford Kellock esq.<br />
is a black and white timbered mansion in the Elizabethan<br />
style, erected in 1613, and situated on a rising ground<br />
in a park of 200 acres; it contains some very fine old<br />
oak, including a carved ma~tel~iece d~ted 1616; t~e<br />

Broughton bart. of Doddington, who is lord of the manor,<br />
Mrs. Wilson, of the Grove, Market Drayton, Charles<br />

day at 3 p.m. by the clergy of Audlem. There is also<br />
