Biogas Transportation Technique by Drip Lateral Pipeline<br />

Description of Technology<br />

The farmer has tried to transport the biogas at about 700 feet<br />

from the cattle shed to kitchen by use of drip irrigation pipeline<br />

of 16 mm diameter as no land is available near the house to<br />

install the biogas plant. As power failure at critical stages of<br />

irrigation to crops was a big problem, biogas was also tried as an<br />

alternative to electricity for irrigation of crops.<br />

Achievements<br />

Experience of the farmer in long distance transport has been<br />

adopted by many farmers in village Tandulwadi and adjacent<br />

villages.<br />

innovator by Dr. PDKV, Akola.<br />
