Description of Technology
The farmer processes the mushroom in dried form and then
makes its powder to sell in the market. This powder fetches a
good price about Rs. 400/kg in the market. It is cost effective,
easy to prepare and reduces post harvest losses, thus extend the
shelf life of the produce. Dried mushroom (whole or powdered
form) can be used in the preparation of mushroom soups,
mushroom biscuits, mushroom nuggets, mushroom ketchups,
mushroom candy, mushroom preserve, mushroom chips etc. He
is producing two varieties i.e. Dhingri and Button mushroom.
From this mushroom production technology, he is earning
