Preservation of a gracious era is focus of the Victorian Society
OCEAN CITY — The Jersey
The Victorian Society in
America was 'founded in.
1966 to promote an awareness
fo the merits of Victorian
architecture,
decoratioin, design and
craftsmanship and to
encourage their protection
and preservation.
The VSA does not confine
the Victorian period to the
dates of the Queen's reign,,
but permits itself an extension
to1914.
The group has found that
interest in Victorian heritage
is growing rapidly.
Members bring together
loves of Victorian architecture,
arts, paintings, music,
sculpture, literature, history,
gardening and craftsmanship.
This is reinforced
